Affirmative Architecture symposium

Affirmative Architecture has been conceived as an annual event that seeks to define an emergent trend amongst young architects and designers to re-engage with the ability of architecture and the design process to make life better. Held at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, the third instalment of symposium was headlined by Andreas Gjertsen, director of Norwegian practice TYIN tegnestue Architects, and featured Owen and Vokes and Peters, iredale pederson hook, M3 architecture, Durbach Block Jaggers, Neeson Murcutt, Officer Woods, Searle x Waldron, Other Architects, Bennett Trimble, Andrew Burns Architects, Pendal and Neille, CODA, Tribe Studio. JMD design and many more notable practices.

David Neustein was co-convenor of the symposium and participated in the presentations.
