Architectural Replicas

Essay for Fake Industries Architectural Agonism "treatise".

Replicas

Published by the Graham Foundation, Architectural Replicas is one of fourteen "treatises" produced by young, internationally-reputed design offices. The publications coincide with the exhibition Treatise: Why Write Alone?, curated by Jimenez Lai.

Subtitled "Four Hypotheses on the use of Agonistic Copies in the Architectural Field," Architectural Replicas is the work of Fake Industries Architectural Agonism, an architectural practice based in Sydney, New York and Barcelona.

David Neustein was enlisted to contribute to the treatise with a critical essay on Fake Industries' Rooms: No Vacancy proposal for the MoMA PS1 Young Architects Program.

Copies of the book are available from the Graham Foundation bookshop.
